Description: Organization offering a work opportunity for individuals who are dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and a mental health diagnosis. Managing a team of five Service Coordinators you will develop and coordinate intake, case management and behavior support services for participants. Hire, train and supervise Services Coordinators in conjunction with the Director. Conduct ongoing appraisals and facilitate professional development of SC’s. Develop and coordinate a comprehensive case management system which ensures that each person served receives person-centered, integrated services throughout the organization and the community. Ensure the scheduling of joint IP meetings with all residential providers per governing body standards. Coordinate implementation of Adult Day Support, ICF/MR, CARF and Adult Service regulations to ensure compliance. Coordinate an organized, effective centralized intake system to ensure number of persons served is maintained at maximum level. Act as primary link with Recruitment & Intake Coordinator regarding status of referrals and the waiting list. Complete and update waiting list summary monthly and as needed. Assign all entering persons to Services Coordinators. Maintain a small case-load as determined by Director. Assist with establishing a network of positive relationships between the organization and its customers and ensure provision of excellent customer service. Develop and implement and annual operating plan for each service support area in conjunction with the Director. Provide guidance and support to persons served by maintaining regular and ongoing direct contact. Intervene therapeutically as needed using verbal and physical intervention techniques per Goodwill Columbus policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services field required. Two years of experience working with persons with DD; two years supervisory experience required. Licensed Professional Counselor or Social Worker preferred. Must maintain First Aid, CPR/AED, Medication Administration and Adult Services certifications. Must maintain valid OH driver’s license and personal car insurance.
