Title: Retail Store Lead
Hours Desired: Fulltime Hours

Pay: Rate starts at $42,536; BOE
Description: Currently seeking an experienced Retail Store Lead who will be responsible for the overall operation of our retail stores. The Retail Store Lead will also achieve established sales revenue goals by providing affordable merchandise to the public that will generate funds to support the programs and services of nonprofit organization. This involves: Oversee all daily operations of the retail store. Manage resources effectively to ensure that all merchandise is rotated and processed according to quality and pricing standards to generate revenue for Goodwill’s programs and services. Meet or exceed all sales budget expectations. Provide new merchandise daily and maintain appealing displays to maximize overall sales. Supervise a staff of Retail Associates, Retail Supervisors, and Retail Assistant Store Leads. Hire, train, evaluate and take corrective actions as needed. Plan work schedules to make sure store is appropriately staffed. Abide by all company policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service. Report, address, and prevent any known potential losses and work to protect organizations Assets. Manage all controllable expenses within the store. Complete all necessary sales, production, and personnel paperwork. Provide a safe work environment and communicate safety information to employees to keep workers' compensation claims to a minimum. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school or equivalent education. Three to five years of retail experience including three years of supervisory experience required; experience in the resale field is helpful. Ability to perform the basic functions of POS programs, including cash registers and related office equipment. Must have experience in productions and operations management. Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must possess strong interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and employees. Knowledge of the current resale market to maintain competitiveness. Basic math skills in order to count cash, verify deposits, and calculate various statistics. Regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds; heavier lifting occasionally needed.
