Title: IT Help Desk Specialist
Hours Desired: Fulltime Hours
Work Hours: Normal business hours
Hours/Wk: 30 hours or more 
Pay: Starts at $13.64/hr.
Description: Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems on company supported hardware and software. This involves the opportunity to: •Serve as a first point of contact by responding to requests for technical assistance by phone, email, electronic work order system or in person. •Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Follow established procedures to resolve problems of users. •Identify situations requiring urgent attention and escalate to next tier. •Track issues and document resolutions in the electronic work order system.
Requirements: •High school or equivalent. •One to three years of experience required in PC hardware and software. •Degree, preferably in a computer technology discipline, or professional certifications highly desired (e.g. CompTIA A+ and/or N+). •Knowledge of PC desktops and laptops, printers and copy/scan/print/fax multifunction devices •Microsoft Windows operating system (Windows XP and Windows 7) •Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 and 2013. •Knowledge of installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a network environment. •Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions. •Ability to communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly and professional manner. •Occasional lifting of computer equipment and electronic equipment up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, crawl under desks and in tight spaces
